SAMUEL LIPMAN
Samuel Lipman, 60, a pianist and publisher of the conservative arts journal the New Criterion, died of leukemia Dec. 17 at a hospital in Manhattan.
Mr. Lipman also served from 1982 to 1988 on the National Council on the Arts, which advises the chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts.
