One of the most prestigious lakefront developments in the Midwest is the enormous estate known to some as the Evergreen Crystal Palace and to others simply as the Evergreen Lake Estate. The nearly 25,000 square foot glass and marble estate is magnificently situated 200 feet above Table Rock Lake, one of the most pristine and deepest lakes in the United States, on a rocky bluff covered in trees.
When it was constructed, this trompe l’oeil made a splash in the design community, and nearly three decades later, it still dazzles. The lavish mega-mansion, which was constructed in 1991 for businessman and philanthropist Robert Plaster and the Evergreen National Corporation, was said to serve two purposes. The first would be a lavish private residence for Mr. Plaster, and the second would be an Evergreen National business retreat.
Who Owns The Evergreen Crystal Palace?
Josh Harris and David Blitzer are the two American owners of the Crystal Palace.
